Le porte di Venezia

Nicola Tenderini esplora le calli veneziane scegliendo porte particolari, in cui il tempo ha lasciato segni evidenti. I dettagli diventano appigli per lo sguardo per scoprire una realtà che ci risultava nascosta in quanto quotidiana e mai osservata. La capacità di Nicola Tenderini di farci percepire il reale attraverso una lente, attraverso il dettaglio pittorico che a momenti sfiora l’iperrealismo. Le porte diventano le protagoniste del quadro facendoci sognare mondi altri. Naturale è il pensiero di aprirle e di lasciarsi immergere in paesaggi fantastici.

The association Arte e Design Venezia presents the Wonderland exhibition. Wonderland celebrates the fantastic in all its forms, unites the alternatives of our existence, perpetuates parallel worlds created by each artist, focuses on the detail and beauty of being as if we were using a macro lens. Through the works, the artists present different versions of themselves and the world. In fact, the surroundings are only a matter of perspective and everything is set to change. Stephen King, in his book “It” writes “You could start from a path that leads nowhere more fantastic than from your house steps to the sidewalk, and from there I could go … well, anywhere“. The fantastic is not a subversion, it is a way of understanding existence and learning to merge into the vast perplexity about whether there is anything to be experienced while experiencing it. Wonderland could be understood as a fantastic field of interpretation, a layered system of sensations, a domain of creation where everything becomes meaningful and fabulous in its particularity.

Visions and Reflections about Architecture

ADmore gallery is one of the galleries that you can rent in Venice to promoting architecture and design. It is an active part of Venice Design Week and aims to showcase Venice as a dynamic and unique design destination.
ADmore promotes a series of personal and collective exhibitions dedicated to architecture and design.

When since May to the end of the year for 15 or 30 days or more during the Venice Architecture Biennal (Biennale di Architettura di Venezia)

Where:
in the gallery of Campo del Ghetto Nuovo (look the art space map),
in the gallery of Campo San Stae,
in the gallery in Giudecca,
or in the museums.

Design33.it will promote the exhibitions

Venice Design Week and Arte e Design Venezia are partners of the exhibitions.

If you like to be selected please send images of your projects, let us know if you prefer renting the gallery or join one of the collective exhibitions.

Coordinated project includes:
rent of space with an internal person who communicates in Italian and English with the public
poster and invitations
catalog
insertion in guides of temporary exhibitions in Venice
